Q3 2026 Market Calendar

Read Q3 in two parts: the releases to revisit and the events still ahead at the August 19 review. This commentary preserves that review date rather than treating the calendar as a live update.

By then, July’s U.S. employment and inflation releases, the advance Q2 GDP estimate, and the main July central-bank meetings had passed. So had the August 7 employment report, the August 11 RBA decision, and the August 12–13 CPI, WASDE, and PPI releases. These entries remain available for checking official results, revisions, and meeting documents.

The sequence after the review begins with FOMC minutes, followed by the second Q2 GDP estimate and PCE, Jackson Hole, the Bank of Korea decision, the ECB meeting account, and the preliminary U.S. employment benchmark. September brings U.S. jobs and inflation data, an OPEC+ production-policy meeting, and several central-bank decisions, including an FOMC meeting with economic projections.

Before comparing two releases, check the period each covers. Reports published in the same month may describe different periods or different stages of an estimate. Keeping those distinctions clear is more useful than reading the dates alone.
