Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information and technologies Futures Compass uses and the choices available to you.
Effective / 2026-07-29
1. Scope and operator
This policy applies to www.futurescompass.app and its Korean and English pages. The service is primarily intended for users in the Republic of Korea and the United States, but it can be accessed elsewhere.
Futures Compass currently provides no account registration, payment, forum, or contact form and does not directly request names, phone numbers, or postal addresses. Privacy inquiries may be sent to sangmoon.web@gmail.com.
2. Information processed
- Language preference: the fc-language cookie stores ko or en for one year so the site can retain your language choice.
- Hosting and security logs: IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, request time, and approximate country may be processed by Vercel for hosting, security, delivery, and language routing.
- Web Analytics: page path, referrer, country, device, browser, and operating-system categories are processed in an anonymous, aggregate form by Vercel Web Analytics. The operator does not receive raw IP addresses or user profiles through this analytics dashboard.
- Speed Insights: route, device and regional categories, and Core Web Vitals may be processed to measure and improve site performance.
- Google AdSense: Google may process cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, ad interactions, and consent choices to serve and measure ads, control frequency, prevent invalid traffic, and personalize ads where permitted by your settings and applicable consent.
- Email inquiries: when you email sangmoon.web@gmail.com, your email address and message are processed to answer the request and take necessary follow-up action. They are deleted when no longer needed unless retention is legally required.
3. Purposes and retention
Information is used only to deliver and secure the site, retain language preferences, understand aggregate visits and performance, provide and measure advertising, and answer inquiries. The language cookie lasts one year.
Retention by Vercel and Google varies with their policies, your settings, and security or legal needs. Information held directly by the operator is deleted when its purpose ends or the relevant service or account is closed, unless law requires a longer period.
4. Service providers and international processing
- Vercel Inc.: web hosting, security, country-based language routing, anonymous analytics, and performance measurement. Request, device, route, regional, and performance information may be processed over HTTPS in the United States and other Vercel infrastructure regions.
- Google LLC: AdSense delivery, consent management, ad measurement, and invalid-traffic prevention. Cookie identifiers, IP address, device and browser data, page visits, and ad interactions may be processed through ad technologies in the United States and Google’s global infrastructure.
- These providers may use subprocessors as needed to provide their services. Their policies below describe locations, retention, and safeguards in more detail.
5. Cookies and advertising choices
You can delete or block cookies through your browser. Doing so may prevent the site from retaining your language choice and may limit certain advertising or consent features.
Use “Privacy choices” in the site footer to open Google’s consent-revocation or advertising settings where available. You can also manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center.
6. Rights in Korea and the United States
Users in Korea may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent to the extent provided by applicable law. Contact sangmoon.web@gmail.com; identity verification may be required where necessary.
Depending on applicable U.S. state law, U.S. residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain certain personal information and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising without discrimination. The operator does not directly sell personal information for money. Advertising choices are available through “Privacy choices” in the footer.
7. Children, safeguards, and changes
The site is not directed to children under 13, or under 14 where Korean law applies, and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Please contact us if you believe such information has been processed.
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards include HTTPS, limited access, and provider security controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page and, where appropriate, by a separate notice on the site.
